It's Straight to Video for Cannon Air Force Base

      CANNON AIR FORCE BASE — Cannon Air Force Base's public affairs office is now producing video stories.
    The chief of public affairs, Capt. Mae-Li Allison, says the multimedia department joined public affairs and combined, they have grown from a staff of four to 20.
    The office now produces videos as well as articles for the base's Web site.
    Staff Sgt. Richard Williams says the main job of photographers and videographers used to be to document accidents and crimes for investigation.
    They still do that, but also now shoot news photos and broadcast stories for public affairs.
    The department now sends a photographer, a videographer and a writer to cover stories. Allison says that before the merger, the department sent one person to write a story and take photos.
