Thunderstorms To Billow Over Parts of N.M.

Associated Press
A southbound cool front will bring increasing chances of showers and thunderstorms to central and eastern New Mexico through Sunday, the National Weather Service said.
Some thunderstorms could produce large hail and strong wind Saturday afternoon and evening.
The front, moving down the eastern plains through Friday night, will trigger nightly east canyon wind into the Rio Grande Valley.
The westward movement of low-level moisture should spark increasing showers and thunderstorms to the Continental Divide by Sunday and Monday.
Scattered light rain fell before sunrise today over the southwestern mountains and the lower Rio Grande Valley.
Low temperatures before dawn ranged from 36 degrees at Angel Fire to 77 degrees at Carlsbad.
High temperatures Thursday ranged from 78 degrees at Cloudcroft to 101 degrees at Carlsbad.
