Thunderstorms Sticking Around This Week

Associated Press
Afternoon showers and thunderstorms should develop over New Mexico's higher terrain and move southward into lower elevations through this week, the National Weather Service said.
Storm coverage will gradually shift eastward as the week progresses.
A cold front could work into the northeast Thursday, providing another focus for thunderstorm development.
New Mexico had mostly clear skies before daybreak today. A few low clouds persisted across the far southeast.
Low temperatures before sunrise ranged from 36 degrees at Angel Fire to 66 degrees at Las Cruces.
High temperatures Monday ranged from 62 degrees at Cloudcroft to 91 degrees at Farmington and Fort Bayard.
