Widespread Showers Forecast for Western N.M.

Associated Press
Moisture rotating around high pressure anchored over southern New Mexico might bring more widespread showers and thunderstorms to the western part of the state Thursday, the National Weather Service said.
A surface front should sag into the northeast Friday and track through the plains Friday night. It could push as far west as the Continental Divide Saturday.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms should crop up Friday night through Sunday.
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms lingered early this morning over Torrance, Lincoln, western De Baca and Chaves counties.
High temperatures Tuesday ranged from 77 degrees at Angel Fire and Cloudcroft to 99 degrees at Animas and Deming.
